For Mathematics departments, the secondary
departmental workshops provide a bank of professional development resources that can be used with whole mathematics departments. These can be utilised together with the individual self evaluation tools that allow teachers to examine their own knowledge and practice in teaching mathematics. For regular updates, the bi-weekly
Secondary Magazine points the way to resources that are indeed ‘Up2d8’ for the classroom, for the teacher and for the department. Don’t forget to pass details onto colleagues from other departments in school that teach aspects of mathematics. They are very welcome to

Numeracy microsite provides a wealth of material for those teaching mathematics and numeracy in further education. On the microsite, you’ll not only find helpful resources but you’ll also be able to discuss successful practice and share experiences with other numeracy teachers. The monthly
